Private tutoring involves students receiving individual lessons from tutors, often university students, to enhance their learning outside of school. These tutoring sessions are conducted on a one-on-one basis, allowing for personalized attention and greater opportunities for improvement.

Our tutors undergo a rigorous selection process to ensure their expertise and qualifications. They are top scorers, subject experts, and/or qualified teachers, and we verify their credentials and background before hiring them. Additionally, we offer a free 15-minute consultation with your prospective tutor to help you assess their suitability. If you are not satisfied with your assigned tutor, we are committed to finding a better match for you and arranging another free consultation with the new tutor.

We try our best to pick the most suitable tutor for you and that you have consistency in your tutoring / your tutor. However, if you ever need to change tutors, please let Sreeya know and she will arrange it straight away

In our initial consultation, we gauge an understanding of what is required, your specific topics, your current curriculum as well as your goals and areas of improvement. We then go on to make a lesson plan and structure based on all of this information, making sure to accommodate for your input or any requests you make along the way 🙂

For example:

If you are preparing for exams, we will go through several mock tests and practice exams.

If you are struggling with understanding concepts, we will take you step-by-step until you’re confident.

If you want to learn ahead, we will teach you advanced content specific to your curriculum.

We can tailor a plan for pretty much any goal you may have!

They are conducted via zoom or discord, with video on (face-to-face) and an interactive whiteboard. A demo is actually on the homepage of our website!

We make sure to show our working out and explanations, and also provide you with the opportunity to show yours as well as your understanding of every concept.

Free Initial Consultation (30 min)

We offer a complimentary 30-minute consultation and trial lesson.

This session includes:

• Academic assessment

• Learning style evaluation

• Goal setting

• Term planning

If you decide to proceed, your official 10-week term will begin the following week.

All lessons are booked in 10-hour blocks paid in advance, which covers 1 lesson per week for a full 10-week school term.

Your card on file will be charged prior to the first lesson, setting your balance to 10 tutoring hours.

This package is non-refundable and is structured as one consistent weekly lesson to ensure steady academic progress.

When your balance reaches 1 remaining hour, you will be notified that your account is due to renew for the next 10-week term. If you wish to discontinue, please notify us via email before the final lesson is completed.

If your balance is not renewed, future lessons cannot be booked.

Standard Academic Program

Starting from $130/hr – 10 Week Term ($1,300)

Designed for students seeking structured academic improvement and consistent performance growth.

Includes:

• 1 lesson per week across a full 10-week school term

• Personalised lesson planning

• Structured skill progression

• Homework and exam preparation

• Ongoing parent communication

Full payment of $1,300 is required prior to commencing the 10-week term.

Specialist Learning Support Program

Starting from $235/hr – 10 Week Term ($2,350)

Designed for students requiring additional academic support, including:

• ADHD

• Dyslexia

• Executive functioning challenges

• Learning difficulties

• Students who struggle in mainstream classroom environments

This program includes:

• Individualised literacy intervention strategies

• Dyslexia-informed teaching approaches

• ADHD focus and behavioural structuring systems

• Executive functioning development (organisation, planning, task initiation)

• Modified content delivery and scaffolding

• Custom resource creation tailored to the student

This level of support requires specialised preparation and structured intervention planning.

Full payment of $2,350 is required prior to commencing the 10-week term.

This package is non-refundable.

Cancellation & Make-Up Policy

Students are permitted one cancellation per semester, which may be rescheduled as a make-up lesson with at least 1 hour’s notice.

Additional missed lessons will not be credited or rescheduled.

Scheduling & Time Slot Policy

Each student is allocated a dedicated weekly time slot.

To maintain fairness to other families and students on our waitlist, lesson times are expected to remain consistent throughout the term.

If a time change is required, this may be discussed with your tutor and will depend strictly on availability.

Late Arrival Policy

If a student is more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, the lesson may be cancelled and counted as used.

If the lesson proceeds despite late arrival, the full scheduled lesson time will still apply.

We will always accommodate for your availabilities and we are very flexible with timings. Being in direct communication with your tutor, you will always be able to arrange lessons that suit you. You can arrange extra lessons and/or longer lessons as well, since the timing and frequency of them are all up to you!

For a credit/make-up session to be given, a notification of a minimum of 24 hours in advance is required. Please note that only one (1) credit per student, per term will be offered.
